This is just a simple page that lists supplies that I believe are essental for a day(s) spent at a rabbit show.
I'll be adding to this list periodically.

Day(s) Before the Show:
- Groom Rabbits- I prefer (also other breeders) to groom my rabbits before the show rather than at the show. I start 2 days before, and redo it the day before, and a quick brush through at the show. Makes things easier. This also includes tattoos. Don't tattoo a rabbit last minute at a show. Touchups are fine, but tattooing a rabbit for the first time on show day is very stressful on yourself, and the bunny.
- Prepare Show Supplies- It just makes your morning easier if everything is prepared to be packed in the car the day before. Plus, it's less likely you'll forget something.
Show Day:
- Rabbits- Should be a no brainer, right? You may be surprised at how easily it is to mix rabbits up, and bring the wrong one to a show. This also includes rabbit you plan on selling, rabbits who are sold and are going to be picked up at the show. This also includes extra cage/carrier slots for expected (or unexpected) additions.
- List Of Rabbits Being Shown- Even if you're only showing 1 rabbit, it is always a good idea to have a list of exactly what you sent off to the show secretary. As always, triple check any entry before it is sent off. Sometimes mistakes can't be fixed.
- Grooming Table- Extremely helpful when tattooing, grooming, or stacking the lunches for your group. They can become pricey, but with the right tools and know-how, you can easily make your own for a much lower cost.
- Pedigree Book- Useful when comparing pedigrees with a rabbit you hope to buy/ breed with. Plus it's a great way to get ideas on naming a new bunny.
- Chairs- Makes those long, one day only shows (and sometimes the multiple day shows) more comfortable.
- Show Box- Includes: nail Clippers, stuff to stop the nails from bleeding just in case, brushes, towel, medicine for you, napkins, etc. Although I do the bulk of my grooming at home (i.e. brushing, blowing, nail trimming) it's always nice to have everything on hand. I keep everything in either the compartment on my grooming table, or a little fish tackle box I converted into a rabbit box.
- Water Bottles- Rabbits need to drink, and mini water bottles attached to the cages are good for that.
- Hay- Keeps the bunnies busy, but make sure when you bring your rabbit to the show table, that the hay is removed from their bottom. Try taking toilet paper rolls, and stuffing the hay inside. Keeps everything clean, and they "enjoy" fighting with the roll to get to the hay.
- White Board- Great for announcing what rabbits you have for sale.
- Extra Clothes- They gotta go, they're gonna go. They don't care if it's on you, or in a cage. Always nice to have a spare set just in case.
- Something to Entertain You- Between shows, things can get boring. Bring a movie or something, but be ready to host a free viewing party.
