I have the right to refuse a sale, or cancel a sale as I see fit. I do not generally require a deposit at this time, but I do have the right to change this policy at anytime. However, to protect myself and you as the the buyer, all convention/national show sales do require a 50% deposit that is due, with the rest due at time of pickup.
I hold the right to require a signed sales agreement before the sale of pet rabbits is finalized. This will be sent prior to pickup (if arranged), and signed on the date of pickup. During the Holidays (Easter and Christmas) a signed sales agreement is required for all animals leaving the Fuzzy Patch.
State of the rabbit:
- To the best of our knowledge all rabbits that are for sale are healthy and in good condition.
- I do not guarantee the show quality of rabbits sold (unless it's labled as a pet rabbit w/ a DQ or fault).
- I do not guarantee brood quality of any rabbits, only past experience with the rabbit in question.
- All known faults will be mentioned if you inquire about a rabbit.
- I do not release a rabbit from my barn until they are at least 8 weeks old for pet quality, and 3 months for show quality. Offers will still be considered starting from the time they are born.
- It is the buyers responsibility to do a final check over the rabbit before buying.
- No pet rabbit will be sold with a pedigree.
On Hold:
- I will hold a rabbit providing a date for pick up is arranged.
- Rabbits may be placed on hold for only 14 days (2 weeks).
- Buyer must contact me via e-mail, facebook, or phone # if I provide one if they are not able to be there on the date scheduled. You then have the option of rescheduling another date, not exceding 5 days, or forfeiting your current "hold" on the rabbit.
- If you wish to no longer purchase a rabbit, s/he will be taken off hold, and new offers will be considered immediately.
- If the buyer does not show up on date scheduled and no contact has been made the rabbit will be taken off hold, and new offers will be considered.
- For all convention/JW national sales: I require a non-refundable 50% deposit that is due within 2 weeks of being placed on hold. If payment is not received, the rabbit will be up for sale again.
Pick up:
- Rabbits may be picked up at my rabbitry, mutual meeting place, or at a show I am attending.
- Minimum of 24-hour notice on all pickups is required.
- If you are interested in a particular rabbit, I may bring him/her to the show (to look at, or for pickup) if I have room.
- If I bring a rabbit to a show, and you do not show up, no contact, decided against it, that rabbit MAY be deemed as FOR SALE for the remainder of that show.
- It is up to the buyer to double check for any DQ's I may have missed. I do a full examination, but I may miss something. If you leave with the rabbit without double checking for any DQ's, or miss something, it is no longer my responsibility if something comes up.
Misc.:
- All Jersey Woolies and Polish born in my barn must have the prefix: Ruth's
- I have the right to terminate any sale if I see a possible problem.
- I DO NOT ship. No exceptions.
